A few preview wedding photographs from Carly & Michael’s wedding at Weybridge Register office.

After their civil ceremony at Weybridge register office in Surrey, we went outside to the beautiful garden to take advantage of the winter sunlight for some Bride & Groom portraits. The backlighting of the low winter sun creates a stunning atmosphere to the photographs.

After a couple of photos, the guests lined up to throw confetti in the garden of Weybridge Register Office to celebrate Carly and Michael tying the knot.

As golden hour began, we stayed behind after the guests went to the reception at Italian Concept to carry on with some more wedding photography. It was quite a cold winter wedding, so Michael had wrapped Carly in his jacket for this portrait, using the bokeh of the lens to blur the dappled light through the trees behind.

I loved how the light catches Carly’s veil in the wind!

At the reception at Italian Concept in Runnymede, they had provided sparklers for the wedding guests as wedding favours. Before the end of the wedding, we went outside with the guests for some sparklers after the wedding speeches.
