Charterhouse Wedding in Surrey
Walking back through the grounds, we shot a few different shots in the South African Cloister where they got married just an hour earlier. The cloister has beautiful vaulted arches and loads of natural light flooding in the traditional windows. I loved this shot in black and white, with the soft shadows on the smooth stonework.
After the wedding, we went to a private garden party for afternoon tea with friends and family. A confetti entrance along the garden path created some wonderful shots before everyone sat down for tea in the glorious sunshine!
Near their reception, is the River Wey, with canal boats moored along the side next to Farncombe boat house in Godalming. We got some great photos by the canal tow path and in a beautiful wildflower field full of buttercups.
These buttercups remind me of a wonderful wedding I shot a few years ago at Chapel Barn in Sussex. You can view this wedding here.
