This is little Evelyn. She’s 6 weeks old and absolutely beautiful. I was invited by a wedding client of mine to photograph their newborn baby girl. I was obsessed with using a window light to get soft, natural light which worked well in some shots, but not so much in others. A soft light worked nicely too, but I didn’t want to use too much flash in case it bothered the baby. She didn’t seem to mind though, so I started shooting more using a flashgun and a reflector in the later shots. I also really liked involving parents in the shoot, which is something I hadn’t really tried before, apart from at weddings.
