Beth & Daniel’s Summer Pre Wedding Shoot in Norbury Park, Great Bookham
This engagement shoot in Surrey was incredibly hot! Shot during the early August heatwave, we had amazing weather at Norbury park in Great Bookham. As always, we had a bit of a warm up for the shoot by walking along the path and woodland close to the park entrance. I love the tree tunnels created by the footpaths through the woodland!
During our engagement shoot in the Surrey woodland, we found a swing hooked up to a fallen tree. It was a great location for a couple of romantic shots of Beth & Daniel on the swing together.
A Summery Engagement Shoot in Surrey
This summer meadow in Norbury Park was my favourite location for capturing shots of Beth & Daniel. The wildflowers were great as a backdrop for couple portraits and for us to try a few different poses, including using wider angles as well as my trusty telephoto lenses. You might also notice a couple of shots where I’ve done just a hint of split toning in the colours, which I thought suited the mood of this summer shoot, giving it a touch of vintage.
For our final shots, we walked back towards the cars, through another tree tunnel and a large cornfield. We had a little bit of silliness amongst the crops (sorry farmers, we were very careful!) and as the sun was getting lower in the sky we just got a bit of sun flare and golden hour light. Our final shots were taken at a bench that has fond memories for Beth & Daniel, and it was rally nice that this location had a lot of personal sentimentality attached for them.
