Cisswood House Hotel Wedding – Andy & Donna’s Spring Wedding, West Sussex

Andy & Donna’s spring wedding at Cisswood House Hotel near Horsham in West Sussex. We began the wedding day at Cisswood House for the bridal prep photographs, getting shots of the wedding dress hanging up in the window of one of the hotel suites, Andy & Donna’s daughter getting ready with hair and a cute flower girl dress and I loved Donna’s wedding Converse shoes, complete with ribbon laces that matched their blue and yellow colour scheme.

The wedding ceremony was held at The Church of St Mary Magdalene in Lyminster village, near Littlehampton. Andy looked very smart in a check suit, with yellow bow tie and flower button hole. Of course, Donna looked amazing in the wedding dress supplied by Wed 2 B.

After the ceremony at St Mary Magdalene Church, we took a couple of photographs around the church grounds, had a confetti photograph and took a few group photographs outside the church’s lichgate. A country lane that ran down the side of the church grounds was perfect for a couple of walking shots with the trees already in full spring bloom.

Cisswood House Hotel Reception

Arriving back at Cisswood House Hotel for the wedding reception, the bride and groom explored the countryside gardens of the hotel. The hotel lawns were great for group photographs and the daffodils were great for a bit of foreground interest in the wedding photographs. You can view the preview shots from the wedding here.

The wedding breakfast was held in the wood panelled banqueting room at the hotel, with a few hilarious wedding speeches from the groom and best man. Great to see the kids getting involved with the first dance and we took a couple of final shots in the hotel entranceway with some off camera flash illuminating the bride and groom behind.
