This week’s preview of a Lainston House wedding with Victoria & Scott. The Dawley Barn was the main venue at Lainston House, where the ceremony was held and the wedding breakfast and evening entertainment ( a ceilidh band) later on.

An honour guard greeted the couple after the ceremony before confetti and bride and groom formal portraits in front of Lainston House.

As the light quickly started to fade soon after (it’s November after all), I wanted to concentrate on trying to capture some of the remaining autumnal colours in the backgrounds of these shots.

The weather was quite overcast, with some very fine mist and drizzle throughout the day, I thought it worked quite well to give this shot a little extra atmosphere.

The evening entertainment in the Dawley Barn at lainston House was begun with a foxtrot first dance before the ceilidh band begun some traditional dancing. View more weddings on the blog here.
