Tunbridge Wells Wedding Photography: Lauren & Cephas

Tunbridge Wells wedding photography with Lauren and Cephas getting married at Saint Swithuns church in East Grinstead and having their reception at Hotel Du Vin in Tunbridge Wells. This wedding shoot started at the family home in East Grinstead in West Sussex, for some bridal prep photography and some formal photos in the back garden. The wedding bouquet looked amazing with white lace added to the handle, and the pink roses and pastel colours worked really well. It’s balanced well with the mint sage green dresses for the bridesmaids , grey suits for men , white and gold dresses for the flower girls.

This was a lovely wedding not only crossing the boundary between Sussex and Kent, but also cross the international boundaries as the groom and his family are French. It was wonderful to see an international wedding like this happen during the pandemic as international travel restrictions have proved tricky when planning the wedding. They had a Christian wedding at Saint Swithuns church in East Grinstead, with guitar music played for worship before exiting the church in the beautiful October sunlight for some confetti with their wedding guests.

On the way to Tunbridge Wells in their wedding car, which was a white mini cooper, we stopped at Dunorlan Park for some photographs of the bride and groom with the tent landscape in the background. Lauren wore a beautiful long cathedral wedding veil which looked amazing in the photos, special thanks to Tom for holding a light for me in some of the Tunbridge Wells wedding photography – bride and groom portraits.

Once we arrived at Hotel du Vin in Tunbridge Wells, we got some great photos of the family as well as a shot of all the wedding guests.

There were bird cages with pink roses and candle in the middle of the tables with ivy wrapped around. The Brides Mum is a florist, she had bought beautiful lace and hessian lace (for the French country vibe) and had arranged a mixture of pink apricot roses, gypsophila and grandmas sweet peas in loving memory.

I was really pleased with the evening photos, capturing a couple of shots of the bride and groom around the hotel in Tunbridge Wells, and I enjoyed their first dance before they moved onto getting all the wedding guest to do some salsa dancing!
