Latimer Estate Wedding
Emma & Mark’s Latimer estate wedding in Amersham, starting off with bridal prep photos at one of the luxurious hotel rooms at the Latimer Estate. Emma’s bridesmaids had matching dressing gowns, that suited the green and white colour scheme and they had hired two VW camper vans.
St Marys Church Wedding Ceremony
The church ceremony was held at St Mary’s Church in Amersham, a church that I have photographed before with Jo and George who were married there a couple of years ago. The confetti shot was particularly memorable as I don’t think I’ve ever seen that much confetti being thrown at once. We captured a few photographs of Emma and Mark with the VW camper vans outside the church, before driving over to the Latimer estate for the wedding reception.
Latimer Estate Wedding Reception
When we arrived I asked the kind of drivers from deluxe wedding cars to lineup the two vehicles in front of the hotel. Here, we got some great photographs of Emma and Mark along with the bridal party.
The wedding reception was beautifully decorated with centrepieces including books with flowers in bowls on top.
On the gift table there were more books, a typewriter and a fingerprint guest book, and the table plan was inside a steamer trunk, featuring book covers for the table names. The flowers were mixed foliage, including Eucalyptus, Herbs, with White Roses and Gypsophila and lots of trailing foliage. There were also handmade bags made out of atlas pages and ordnance survey maps. Finally, a semi-naked, 4 tiered wedding cake with trailing flowers was nestled in the corner of the wedding breakfast room.
