Hendall Manor Barns Wedding in the East Sussex countryside near Uckfield. Chloe & Mathew had a beautiful wedding day that started off at their family home for the bridal prep photos.
Chloe’s bridesmaid team above, including their daughter. Bridesmaid Katie (right) got married at Wadhurst Castle a couple of years ago, so it was great to be working with friendly faces again. You can see Katie’s wedding on the blog here.
Chloe looked absolutely stunning in this wedding dress from Fross Wedding Collections. They had a blush pink colour scheme and Hendall Manor Barns had been decorated beautifully with a white blossom arch with glass baubles with lights for the ceremony. There was also a flower wall and a moon arch in the garden, and for the evening they had wooden light up ‘LOVE’ letters.
The flowers were a mixture of whites and pinks with green eucalyptus, and for wedding favours they had personalised mini candle Mason jars and also mini Nutella jars with labels on.
Chloe arrived in a Vintage Rolls Royce, and Mat, the Groom arrived in a traditional Routemaster London Bus.
Chloe and Mat opted for bubbles over confetti, so wedding guests were given bubbles once the ceremony had finished and they lined the terrace for the drinks reception and this shot above. It was also helped by the venue co-ordinator with their brilliant bubble machine gun!
Hendall Manor Barns Wedding Reception
The views from Hendall Manor are fantastic, you can see right to the South Downs across the Weald of Sussex. I love the family shots above with the bus, and after some group photos, we took a walk around the grounds of the wedding venue.
I think swings are so romantic and make brilliant photo spots. The pond was also brilliant for photo opportunities, and we also used the arches of the building for some cool bridal party shots.
It was nice to have the speeches outdoors for this intimate wedding, with the Father of the Bride reading out kind words on the terrace of the gardens. Even their son had a great speech prepared!
We had some fun with a couple of smoke grenades after the wedding breakfast. Massive kudos to our other bridesmaid, Danielle, who ran around to spread the smoke around for this shot! There was also a surprise ice cream van to serve dessert!
The sunset was amazing, and we got this shot with a little off camera flash to illuminate the couple. The evening finished with lots of dancing, including some ‘Sweet Caroline’ chanting and a romantic ending with sparklers as the finale.
