Autumn Engagement Shoot – Regent’s Park Engagement Shoot – London Engagement Photographer – Autumn Wedding Photography
A Regent’s Park engagement shoot with autumn colours with Eduvie and Salwa in London. We met near the Griffin Tazza (Lion Vase) in the southern section of the park, to get some shots on the tree lined pathways full of autumnal colour in early October.
Despite the autumn season, there were still plenty of late blooming flowers, like these purple verbenas, which were great for adding a bit of colour in the foreground of these shots, using the bokeh of the 85mm f1.2 lens.
The main path into Regent’s Park, the Broad Walk leading up to St Mary’s gardens has some great lines of trees along the edges, and the blanket of leaves already on the ground added some great colour in these shots.
We couldn’t resist getting a couple of shots next to this fountain, backlit in the afternoon sun, before heading through St Mary’s Gardens to the boating lake and bandstand. The surrounding trees had golden colour as golden hour was beginning in the autumn late afternoon.
The boating lake in Regent’s Park offered us an alternative background for some shots along the side of the lake. We weren’t quite brave enough to buy a pedalo boat for shots on the lake, though I have shot weddings with boats before! Salwa’s jumpsuit had flowing sleeves which worked amazingly in the light breeze coming across the lake.
Finally, on our way out of the park, we grabbed a quick shot of the wrought iron gates, famous around public parks in London.
