Sam & Laura had a rustic civil ceremony wedding at Chapel Barn in Sussex.
The wedding had a vintage/country floral theme, with blush pinks, powder blues and ivory colours. Sam had two best men, each holding the rings above, which were presented in these beautiful cases. A white London cab picked Laura up from they home in Brighton and when we arrived, an acoustic guitarist played whilst Laura walked down the aisle.
It was moments after this photo, that the heavens opened and we got some great photos in the rain! We had to do our group photos under the canopy of an open barn, with vintage, lace bunting decorating the background.
The reception was decorated with gypsophila in tall lily vases and roses in other vintage glasses. The wedding favours were small sticks of Brighton rock, a homage to their hometown, and the wedding cake was a three-tiered naked sponge cake that was decorated with fresh flowers and a wooden cut-out of their names was placed on top.
Having so many good friends, there were six speeches, detailing Sam & Laura’s relationship and history together as a couple. In the evening, a photo-booth was set up for guests to take pictures and a band played their first dance before the partying got going on the dance floor!
