Paul & Sophie have featured on the blog a couple of times before, having had their engagement shoot back in April at Greenwich Park, London. It really set us up for some lovely wedding pictures when they got married in June.
The Bridal preparations started at Sophie’s parent’s home in Purley, in South London. Sophie’s father’s stylish Jukebox set out a chilled atmosphere for make up and hair styling.
The Bridesmaids had stunning Hellenic style dresses in neutral colours to match the pastel (grey/white/ivory/silver/blush pink) colour scheme.
Two Silver Mercedes S Class escorted the bridal party to Woldingham Chapel for the ceremony. The guests were then treated to a champagne reception with a singer and guitarist with lawn games supplied by the venue.
The décor was quite classic, lots of flowers / candles / fairy lights and a stunning 5ft laminated LOVE sign. They had also supplied wedding favours of mini limoncello bottles and there were two wedding cakes: one 4 tier white/silver/grey, bold and ruffles & another 5 tier cheese cake decorated with green flowers.
There were lots of evening antics in the Photo-booth, and some great music from the live band (even the Groom got a turn with the microphone!) to inspire some eclectic dancing! We also had a bit of fun playing with the lighting around the pond and fountain in the garden after dark.
